Home for a bit..

posted May 19, 2013, 11:00 PM by FightingFor Mya

I just talked with Ray. He said that Mya's ANC is at 600, which means that they are coming home today! Such great news, Ray really needs to spend a night in his own bed - so does Mya. Ray said that Mya is feeling so well that she has been eating Cheerios. That is definitely welcome news. It's been a long time since she has eaten anything by mouth.

Ray thinks they will be home just before supper time today. Over the next two weeks, we will focus on getting Mya's strength up and encouraging her to move about. Being in a hospital bed doesn't do anyone's body any favors.
