Little Chores to do..

So, Mya went to Dana Farber on Thursday as scheduled. Both Ray and I thought that they were going to start Round 5, but the team noticed that Mya's central line had moved out a little bit. They wanted to run some tests to ensure that they could continue to use it and not have to replace it (which would mean a surgery, ugh!). So, the only thing Ray ended up doing on Thursday was some house keeping stuff for Mya (dressing change, cap change, recording her weight, etc). We were able to go home and waiting for the results of the test.

The tests showed that we could continue to use her central line. So, as of right now, we are scheduled to go back to Dana Farber this coming Thursday, when we are almost positive that Mya is going to start Round 5.

So, home for another week! This is great because we can really concentrate on getting as many calories into her as humanly possible. Her nausea seems to have really lessened, she had 16+ oz of whole milk yesterday, almost a whole banana, in addition to her high calorie liquid formuala. Feels like we are gaining back some of the ground lost.

As for baby #2, I've been having contractions as of last night into this morning. As I type this, it's finally eased up. I'm sure that I'm at least 1 or 2 centimeters dialiatd. If I make it to Monday, I will be very surprised. We are ready though, with my to-go bag packed and all the needed things for the baby when she comes. Here's to hoping that I have the baby and can get home before Mya has to go in for her treatment!
