Separate Hospitals?

Today, Ray & Mya went down to Dana Farber. The plan was to check her blood levels to see if she was ready to start Round 5. Well, she JUST made it, and her team approved her for the last round of chemo. So, Ray & Mya were admitted to Children's hospital. They are on the 6th floor, east. Ray said that the chemo was scheduled to start around 7pm tonight and should run for 4-6 hours. Here's to hoping that tomorrow will be an ok day for both of them.

As for me, I went to work today to help the temp admin with some of my daily tasks. I could only make it until about 3pm, then my swollen feet got the better of me and I had to take off for home. I've been elevating them ever since, but the swelling won't completely go away anymore.

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and he told me that everything looks good, baby is in good position, yada yada yada. He is having me come back to see him this coming Monday. At that time, he said we can start talking about inducing. He is trying to let my body run its course, because if you do induce you are more likely to have a c-section. I know that by Monday, I won't care HOW I have the baby, I will just NEED to have the baby.

So, I'm home flying solo for right now. I have at least two people who can help me get to the hospital, so I have good plans in place. I'm just bummed that my husband most likely won't be there when our second child is born..... but our first really needs us too.

Will post again soon to let you know how Mya is handling the chemo.
